Lacy Wood - Rebirth
A selection of photographs from New York based photographer Lacy Wood. While Lacy finds her inspiration through travelling and exploring cities such as Tokyo and Bangkok, the pandemic forced her to take a voyage closer to home–within the sanctuaries and rooms of women in NYC. Her series Rebirth reflects both our inner worlds during the pandemic and the world we mourn outside. Here, she captures the resilience and beauty of women in NYC through dreamy, sunlit portraits staged in their apartments. Taking these photographs, she notes, was a unique way to remember this precarious moment in time.
