Clara Linciano - Oblivion
It's a project that talks about present souls and lost souls. It is the search for answers on the sense of family as a whole through abstract and twisted perspectives of reality. The work starts from the photographic archive created over the years by my maternal grandmother, which was then expanded with related images to my personal vision. This work aims to investigate death and rebirth, pain and self-love. The subject around which the story revolves is my grandmother and the story of someone who, despite having suffered various losses for various causes, manages to move forward with a pinch of selfishness and love towards life and herself, is the story of a woman who, despite prejudices and stereotypes, travels, explores and loves life, the same one that took away everything that was most important to her. Without rancor, without remorse.
