Paul Walsh - Walking with Strangers
My photographic practice is based around walking, and for this series I embarked on a three month pilgrimage across France and Spain which eventually followed the Camino de Santiago. The project explores the idea of walking as shared experience, and using it to help people ruminate on, and overcome something in their life. The project touches on escapism and the notion of a transformative walking journey, so the resulting book roughly follows a similar narrative sequence.
